My contribution project consists of translating and correcting strings from the WordPress ecosystem into Spanish for Costa Rica (es_CR), a locale with few active contributors and, therefore, with high local impact. I focus on the localization of the Elementor Website Builder plugin, applying the formal “usted” treatment, terminological consistency based on glossaries, and the preservation of variables (%s, %d), HTML tags, and proper names of features. The goal is to increase the plugin’s translation percentage while maintaining a clear, neutral, and professional register suitable for the Spanish-speaking end user.
